Ooops! So much has happened.... I can't even remember it all!

Hello,
We'll just go back as far as I can remember!  We attended the Rose Show as a warm-up for Wills Park. Everyone was great- Meg and Frosty cantered, BlackMare jumped around, and Maverick -of course was perfect! Skizz and Meg rode Frosty to a Reserve Champion in his first show ever!

Frosty supported his local troops! Luitenant Colby came out and rode english for her first time in about ten years one beautiful Sunday morning. I think it is safe to assume she had fun, because she was all smiles and worry free!
The following Friday she was deployed to Afghanistan for a mission that is expected to last anywhere from 6 months to over a year.
I miss you Krissy- and I'm sorry you can't be with friends and family through the holidays. Be safe and hurry home! We have a trail ride to go on!

Mid November we went to the HSV Finale at Wills Park. It was an interesting weekend to say the least, and we won so much more than just silly ribbons. Megan was awesome in HUGE beginner classes. I was impressed with her ability to stay spread out in a tiny ring with 11 other beginners!
After getting a new shoe- BlackMare got to show and jumped around one really nice course that I didn't catch on tape : (  She was so laid-back with the crowds and the new surroundings. I was proud.
Maverick was a little louder than usual- but by the time he entered the show ring he was all business. Elizabeth put down some amazing lines, and each show they get closer and closer to just nailing a course.  Kaitlin, and old student of mine, had qualified for the Atlanta Saddlery Equitation Challenge - but her horse was away on trial.  She ended up riding Maverick in the class. We had a lot of fun watching her!!
A few weeks ago- clinician Imti returned to Rose for a clinic. As always he had wonderful praise for my students and horses : )  They always make me so proud.
We are starting work on our very own arena- and hope to have that done shortly so we can get back to prepairing for the 08 show season (although the horses seem to be enjoying their down time.)
I think that is all for now!
