First show out of the way!!!
Our show at Wills went way better than I had expected! Mav stepped
off the trailer- never looked- didn't make a sound- tied perfectly to the trailer and was happy all day. We didn't
school over fences in the morning- so Skizz went into the hunter and pony ring and jumped around cold turkey. He didn't
look at anything!! What an incredible baby. They started the day off getting 3rd out of 10 in a hunter undersaddle class-
which we were pretty pleased with (ecspecially since they blew a lead) that judge must have really like him because the class
was full of green warmbloods! I've been a little worried that because of his size- Maverick would have a hard time
getting the step down the lines. WELL- that's def not the case. He can make the step easy! Skizz and Mav finished
the day with all 4th places in Long Stirrup Hunter. 5th place in Eq over fences & 2nd in Eq on the flat! YEA Now
we are back home- ready to iron out a few things - and head back out to a show.

Silly Boy!
Well. . . .Mav went and got a wound right where the saddle goes- so we had to cancel going
to the show this weekend- but we are going to try for the Brownwood next weekend at Wills. I think with the nasty weather
that roled in today- skipping this weekend might be better anyway! Tucker is now eating as fast as Kady- and he can reach
his little head all the way up and into mom's feeder. It's amazing how fast they grow. Funny Fact: Who would
have guessed that out farrier used to have a Myspace page

We're ready- right? : )
Tucker is doing great- Kady is still fat. Tucker is teething- and exploring everything- thinking
it might be food. He is a mini-Mav. OH GREAT! We're one lead change away (and 4 new shoes) from being ready for the show
this weekend. We are going to the St. David's at Wills Park. We are sorry you are not going Skylar : ( Maybe next time!
So let's keep our fingers crossed that Maverick continues through the weekend with his newfound maturity!
